Irish Set Dancing Melbourne

Melbourne Claddagh Dancers is a social, not for profit, group for those who love Irish Set Dancing.
Set dancing is the style of dance danced in homes and pubs in Ireland (NOT Riverdance !) to fabulous Irish music.
Melbourne Claddagh Dancers meet in Ivanhoe East, Melbourne on the 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoon of the month from February to mid-December.
Classes run from 2.00 - 5.00 p.m.
Venue: Evans Hall, St George's Anglican Church, Ivanhoe East.
Melways: 31 J9
No prior experience or partner required.
We welcome new dancers of any age.
Classes are $7 or $5 if you become a member. Membership is $5.
The first class is *Free*
Claddagh holds 2 Live Music Ceilis each year. The entrance for these is $15.
The Sets for these are advertised in advanced and practised during preceding weeks.
We also run a Set Dance weekend in Trentham late January each year.
