Let's samba, sweat and swing to a variety of Brazilian rhythms, while improving our fitness level, dance technique and performance skills.
We'll practice basic dance vocabulary, authentic Brazilian samba footwork, hip movements, arm styling & fun choreography that will boost our energy and our confidence!
Members will have the opportunity to perform in local cultural events, including the San Francisco Carnaval Grand Parade held on Memorial Day Weekend!
This Brazilian Dance Group includes a full body warm-up, stretching and floor mat exercises. (Wear comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes and bring a floor mat and towel.)
Mary Dollar, seasoned "Brazilian dance instructor", will break down all of the movements and steps in an “easy to follow” format for all to enjoy!
