Based at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall, we are launching SOUNDCLASH in 2019. This will feature a Northern Soul DJ alternating sets with another form of live music. For our first event on Sunday 10th February 5pm - 9pm this will be NORTHERN SOUL vs SKA, featuring live Ska band THE INTERPRETERS and Northern Soul/Motown DJ Sean Taylor.
The band will appear as a seven piece, with special guests Danny McCormack (keyboard) of Roy Wood's band, Duane Eddy's saxophonist Paul Corry and Al Beat of The International Beat on percussion.
With two large maple sprung dance floors, a guest Real Ale pop up bar, the new Sir Doug Ellis Bar and classic ballroom setting, we hope this will be the first of many happy Sundays at the Town Hall, which is a charity venue fundraising for essential restoration work.
Tickets are £10 in advance, £15 on the door, booking recommended. Pop up coffee bar will also be available. The venue is next to the railway station, with public car parks both at the station and across the road from the Upper Clifton Road venue. Tickets can be booked via https://www.townhallsuttoncoldfield.co.uk/show-and-events-tickets/ or call the Town Hall on 0121 296 9543.
