PD London

PD London is the most recent project of the Pé Descalço Group. Still taking its first steps, the new Unit, born out of a Brazilian and Portuguese partnership, comes to discover the old world and help to strengthen the Forró in Europe.

This group is for anyone who is passionate about Forró, a Brazilian rhythm that has been growing in Europe for the last 10 years. This rhythm was born in Northeast of Brazil and has changed its style in the last two decades, influenced by other couples dances such as Samba de Gafieira, Salsa and Zouk.

Pé Descalço is a dance school teaching Forró Pé Descalço, a unique style developed by us which is rich in movement, musicality and heavily influenced by ballroom dancing.

Community, the culture of spontaneity and the idea of pushing your limits are at the heart of our values. Through fun, friendship and relaxation, we enjoy transforming the lives of people through dance.

We always welcome new students to our school and your first lesson is completely free!

Join us on Tuesdays at 7pm or Saturdays at 5pm at Raine's Foundation School, Approach Road, E2 9LY, close to Bethnal Green Underground Station (Central Line).
