Brisbane Blues Dancing

This is a group for anyone who is interested in blues dancing.
You can like the music and want to find a new way to enjoy it. You could love social dancing and want another style to add to your quiver. You might want to do a fun activity and make friends while doing it. You might want to learn to slow dance with your partner. You might just want to learn how to look cool and groove to the music when you go out on the town.
We organise socials, run classes, go out to local blues events and on occasion host house parties and practicas.
You don't need a partner. You can choose to dance lead, follow or both. We are LGBT friendly. No special footwear required- just avoid grippy soles. Ladies this is a style of dance where even the international pro's regularly dance in flats.
I love blues dancing, so much so that myself and three others started our own blues dance school, just so Brisbane could have it's own dedicated blues dance school.
I would love to dance more and meet others who love blues music or dancing.
