Flamenco Valencia Meetup Group

El flamenco es un estilo de música y danza propio de algunas regiones de España. Sus principales facetas son el cante, el toque y el baile. Data del siglo XVIII, y su origen se debe a la fusión de las distintas culturas que coincidieron en la Andalucía de la época: oriundos, musulmanes, gitanos, castellanos y judíos. Fue declarado Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad.

Este grupo está dirigido a todas aquellas personas que se sienten atraídas por este arte o desean descubrirlo, divertirse, conocer gente, acudir a espectáculos en directo, cenas en tablaos flamencos, aprender a bailar sevillanas, organizar viajes a Andalucía, y todo lo que se nos ocurra para adentrarnos en este apasionante mundo cargado de carisma. ¡Gente de todas las nacionalidades es bienvenida! De cualquier edad y cualquier lengua. El flamenco es arte, cultura ¡y diversión!

Flamenco is a style of music and dance from some regions of Spain. Its principal facets are song, instrumental and dance. It dates back to the 18th century and owes its original to the melting pot of the different cultures that coincided with the Andalusia of that time: natives, muslims, gypsies, castilians and jews. It was declared Cultural Immaterial Heritage of the Humanity.

This group is open to every person who feels attracted by this art or wants to discover it, have fun, get to know people, enjoy live entertainment shows, have dinner in Flamenco "tablaos", learn to dance Sevillanas, organize trips to Andalusia, or everything we come up with to enter this exciting world full of charisma. People of all nationalities, of any language and any age, are welcome! Flamenco is art, culture and fun!
