Hello and welcome to Skipton Eating, Drinking, Talking and Laughing Meetup Group (SEDTL)!
This group was set up to help eaters, drinkers, talkers and laughers socialise, meet new and existing friends and attend events mainly in and around the Skipton area. We want to build a community of friends to enjoy fun and entertaining activities with like-minded people. The group is open to everyone age 18 and over.
Events (past and future) include live music, dancing, meals out, beer festivals, theatre, cinema trips, pub quizzes, pub crawls, day trips, walking, hiking and hill-walking, 10 pin bowling, cake and coffee get-togethers, craft events, games nights and book club! The group was set up in August 2015 and continues to grow steadily. The success of the group is due not only to the people who attend events, but also to the people who 'Post'n'Host' events! Without them, there wouldn't be a Skipton EDTL group! It's not just a case of joining, sitting back and seeing what happens, we actively encourage you to post your own events and go along to other people's events. Don't be discouraged if nobody attends your events the first few times - it happens to us all!

When/if you're ready to become an Event Organizer and you want to Post'n'Host events, drop me a line and I'll add you to the Event Organizer list so you'll be able to add events yourself!
