Our events are for all us singles who want to GET OUT and have some FUN! Not that we don't love our couple friends too, but they always have to leave early (or can't come at all) because of the kids, the house, etc. This group is for those of us who have more free time and want to make some new friends while having some FUN! There are more of us single people in the bay area than you think, so leave all your friends who are couples at home and come out to have some FUN with us! We're your people :)
If your social life is a lot of dating then the recession probably has cut that back a bit...it's expensive! Our events are NOT expensive, or dates! We do that purposefully. It doesn't have to cost a lot to have a good time, and you don't have to be on a date to meet someone new. An afternoon in the park with a Frisbee, some fun singles, sunshine, and a potluck dish is an inexpensive, casual and above all FUN day out! Sound good to you too?
We aren't just about the usual happy hour in a bar shouting to each other over a drink, I mean we aren't 22 anymore, right? :) Our philosophy is to spend a little of our time/effort/creativity to plan quality events worthy of sharing our precious free time together. Meetup is just how we're introduced, the fun happens once you show up. So do something for yourself, be brave, don't just lurk, come out and have some FUN! Come join us!
