SoCal Transplants

Welcome to our group! 

This group is primarily for 20s, 30s and 40s professionals who have moved here from other cities/countries. It's an opportunity to explore SoCal like tourists but also take advantage of all the secrets only locals know.
Our activities will include socializing like bars, happy hours, dancing, breweries, as well as sightseeing, foodie venture, museums, galleries, hiking, camping and road trips, or whatever adventures as diverse as the members we have. 

Please feel free to offer suggestions if there is something you would like to do and we always look for organizers to host repeat events for us.

Simple house keeping rules.

*Must have a profile picture (of yourself) so that we can identify you in our events.

*Our group is intended to be a safe and welcoming environment to meet new people and make friends. All our organizers are volunteers so no harassment or disrespect toward them or our members. This will not be tolerated. 

*Our group does has a $5 annual fee to pay our dues and expenses as well as we give back to the community plus more by hosting private and beach events. This also encourages attendance and deters spammers from joining our group.

*Please specify your age group(not necessary to post your actual age) so that you can connect with people and what events to look out for.

While the focus is on being a community for Transplants, we welcome locals, too.
