This group is for people who are either living or traveling in the SF Bay area and are looking to have some fun in the city! Come socialize with us and meet other locals, students, interns, expats, au pairs and travelers from around the world! When you attend an event, often you'll feel like you've just landed in Europe, Australia or South America without even leaving the city.  We head to the pubs, clubs, go on pub crawls, enjoy road trips and outdoor activities, cheap dinner nights, trivia nights, sports events, dance parties, house parties, and other local activities.

Our meet ups usually get a bunch of travelers/hostelers/backpackers/students/interns/expats/au pairs from all over the city along with locals wanting to meet them, share travel stories, and party like they're on holiday.  When we organize an event, 90% of the attendees have just met each other that night or are new to the city.

So if you're new to SF or even if you have tons of friends but they are all busy studying/working one night and you want to hit the town - then come meet up with us and party with some new friends for the evening!  Or if you're an au pair, on a J1 visa, or studying/interning in SF and want to bump into some fun people from your home country or meet other J1ers/students/interns/au pairs in SF, our meet ups are the best place to do this. And you'll meet travel-friendly locals at the same time who will tell you all the “local secrets” on where to have fun in the city.

Membership is FREE and we only pick free and cheap events to attend – because we know that travelers/students are usually on a budget. You only have to be fun and friendly to join!

You also agree to hold the organizers as well as other group members harmless.  By participating voluntarily in the group, you expressly waive any and all such claims against each and every other member in the group, including without limitation any and all claims against the group organizer, coorganizers, assistant organizers, and event hosts.
