Cajon Box Drum

We believe that there is a drummer in everyone and it's our passion and joy to help you discover the beats lying dormant within you! This group is for anyone of any age who loves and enjoys music and rhythms, perfect if you'd like to express yourself through the art of music and rhythm! 

Join our weekly classes and learn to play the amazing and instantly rewarding Cajon (Box drum, also known as drum kit in a box). During classes, we learn to play a range of styles (and consequently the cultures that go with it), such as latin, flamenco, pop, rock, funk, folk, world, blues etc. 

Make amazing new friends from all walks of life who love music and enjoy having a good time, going out for a drink after class or going out as a group to a concert or event together. We love to go and watch some great live music like flamenco, latin, world, jazz, rock… really anything that inspires us and brings us closer together as a group! Believe it or not, we even have a few in love couples as a result of our cajon events and classes….. :-)

You can also join our ensemble sessions and work as a team on creating an exciting piece of percussive music. 

Join our 'flash mob' or street performance events with our Cajon Club, have an awesome day out in the sun with great friends, rhythms and good vibes! It's a great way to feel the rush of performing in public (and busking in general), but in a very familiar and fun setting, in a big group with lots of friends and laughs!

We also host regular Cajon jam sessions, and you are welcome to bring along any instrument, and invite your friends to come along and have a jam, or just pop in for a drink and enjoy the beats!

Take part in our cajon community project events, where we spread the love through the cajon and music to people who really need it! :-)
