The Shire's over 40's Social Group

The Shire in this case is the Sutherland shire but we include events in Revesby, Canterbury and the St George areas. This is a group for all you over 40's+ singles or couples (But we are happy with those that are younger but feel they can keep up with us) that are not 'over the hill', or just sitting at home with an itch for a social life.

We tend to organise at least one night out per month, plus other nights out at various venues that have appropriate shows and/or dancing events available. We also organise regular local walks followed by coffee. These walks go for about an hour and cover approximately 5km.

Please have a look at some of our past events and  if you are aware of a similar event near us then let one of the organiser know so that we may asses whether this is an event that fits our profile.

To maintain the harmony of our group should a current member object to your membership  then your membership can and will  be withdrawn without notice. Any moneys paid will be refunded. No further discussion will be entered into.

To be fair on all members it is essential that you are genuine and committed to your RSVPs. You may be removed from the group with no-shows, last-minute un-RSVPs, or inactivity.

Please ensure that you upload a photo of YOURSELF so that other members can recognise you at the various outings that you participate in. We will not accept members who have not included a suitable photo no if's or but's.

We also will not tolerate any unsolicited approaches to members. If your intention and motivation is to join and then approach members via the messaging system then you will be immediately deleted from the group. You are expected to attend events and meet  members in person not contact them without having previously met them.
